Introducing the Safety Valve, a distortion device employing a 12AX7 valve, designed as an adaptation of Beavis Audio's Valvecaster, originally intended for guitars. With modifications to accommodate synthesizers, this project transcends guitar line level limitations. Drawing from online schematics and readily accessible components, the Safety Valve became my second endeavor and a valuable enhancement to my synth toolkit. Over time, the valve develops a distinct character, and the original valve continues to deliver a warm, dynamic distortion to my synthesizer.
